A project to create a “chilly ice bar” on the beach at Yuigahama in summer.

In addition to the usual beach house functions of dining/resting space, showers, lockers, and parasol rentals, “OPEN HOUSE ICE BEACH” will have an “ICE BAR” made of ice at -15 degrees Celsius. To recreate the temperature difference between the scorching hot beach and the freezing cold of the “ICE BAR,” we aimed to create an otherworldly space by using refrigerated containers. The mood is set by custom-made “icicle lighting” and stand lighting in the shape of a deformed snowball. We designed a space where you can enjoy the ocean view of Yuigahama while enjoying a drink at a real ice table.
