To enhance the experience for hotel guests traversing the long corridors, we adopted the concept of a “hot spring town alleyway filled with rising steam.” We incorporated elements such as shops designed to evoke the atmosphere of traditional *machiya* townhouses and a game corner that captures the festive spirit of a hot spring resort. The overall environment features design elements that reflect local characteristics and traditional crafts—including modern interpretations of eaves, lighting effects that mimic rising steam, flooring reminiscent of stone-paved streets, and bamboo-crafted displays—thereby transforming the long passageways into a space that offers a unique and immersive atmosphere.
