Morimatsu (Suzhou) Life Science Co., Ltd. Changshu Factory

A new factory of about 130,000 m2 was established in a location about an hour and a half from Shanghai. We were in charge of the interior design and planning of all the offices of Morimatsu Kogyo, which has expanded into China and continues to develop, and has developed greatly in China, combining Japan and China. The design motif is the thumb mark (No. 1) in the logo mark, which represents Morimatsu Kogyo’s desire to “meet the needs of our customers and produce the best results,” and the company color blue. The main concept of the company’s approach is “coexistence with nature,” and gentle curves are incorporated throughout the facility, incorporating space and nature into the office and factory space, which tend to be rigid, to provide comfort. In the showroom on the first floor, the company’s “nature and future” is expressed through the design and lighting, the office space is functional and comfortable, the conference room space is functional and luxurious, and the large lecture hall has a ceiling design modeled after the logo mark, creating a powerful and memorable space. In the employee cafeteria and banquet hall, we designed a calm space that combines Japanese and Chinese styles while giving the feeling of “arc…water…wood.” We aimed to provide a rich and refreshing space for users.
