Notice of investment in “Green Bonds” issued by Kyoto City

ZYCC Corporation (Representative：Mr. Keiichi Yuasa, hereinafter referred to as “our company”) is pleased to announce that it has invested in a Green Bond issued by Kyoto City (Kyoto City FY2020 Green Bond 5-year public offering, hereinafter referred to as “this bond”).
A Green Bond is a bond issued to procure funds limited to projects that have and environmental improvement effect. The framework of this bond is based on “Green Bond Principles 2021” defined by the International Capital Market Association and the “Ministry of the Environment Green Bond Guidelines 2022”. We have obtained a second opinion form the Japan Credit Rating Agency and have received the highest rating of “Green 1 (F)”.
The proceeds from the issuance of this bond will be used for green projects that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs that Kyoto City is working on.
We will continue to implement ESG investment, including this bond, and continue to fulfill our social responsibility.
