LEONARD, known for its “world’s most beautiful prints,” has been loved by women of all generations around the world. We were in charge of the design and construction of the flagship store in Omotesando. This store has the function of selling products, but it is also designed as a vessel for communicating the brand’s worldview from time to time. In addition, we planned a dynamic wooden lattice structure “scarf pavilion” in front of the store, which displays the brand’s signature scarves in a three-dimensional manner. This structure allows shelves and wooden lattices to be added or removed, making it possible to develop a variety of products. By incorporating flexibility, we will be able to communicate a different worldview of LEONARD each season.
