This property, Hakata Bus Terminal’s Airport Street, is located at the beginning of the street that runs from Hakata Station to Jotenji Street in the old town of Hakata. We were in charge of the graphics, aiming to create a street that would make people visiting the old town feel excited and excited, and make their hearts dance.
The graphics graphically express the color of the earthen walls and Hakata fences, and the illustrations feature the local scenery, Fukuoka traditions, Yamakasa and Dontaku, and the colorful colors are based on the colors of Hakata-ori, a traditional Hakata craft, and the Hakata Bus Terminal logo. We tried to harmonize with the old town, expressing the humor that is characteristic of Hakata Bus Terminal through colors and graphics, and blending in the uniqueness of the area.
